Top of the class Sunday for Balda who fought for the win in Race 2 until the final meters, taking 3rd place overall.

Lorenzo made an excellent start, which allowed him to be part of the leading group right from the start.
On lap 11, thanks to the crash of momentary leader De Rosa, Balda took the lead, which he held until the last lap. It was here that the Italian rider engaged in a beautiful duel with Aegerter, whose entry at turn 15 forced the italian to go slightly out of the track, finishing 3rd under the chequered flag.

Balda remains in second place in the overall standings, with 352 points.

Next stop: from 11-13 November at the Indonesian circuit of Mandalika, for the eleventh and penultimate round of the 2022 season.

“It was a beautiful race, as I fought to the end for the victory. Our package was very good today, so it’s a pity we didn’t win: during the last battle with Aegerter I lost my footing in a change of direction, and then took a neutral as I tried to cross my trajectory with his one. However, I am happy with our performance, I really thank the team for their great work“.
