First day of work for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team in Misano, with good feedback. In a day one where the weather played an important role – changing from the morning to the afternoon – Lorenzo Baldassarri obtained useful information, taking 6th in the combined standings.

FP1 was staged in the morning, marked by gray skies and low temperatures. In these complicated conditions Balda began to get familiar with the track. Lorenzo completed 18 laps, taking 4th position.

In the afternoon, temperatures gradually rose, with the riders on track for FP2. Lorenzo improved his feeling on the bike, completing 20 laps and ended the session in 6th position.

With the first day of practice over, it is time to analyze the data, to prepare the best set-up for tomorrow, when it will be time for the first race of the weekend.
Day 2 at Misano will open at 10:25 with Superpole, while at 15.15 the lights will go out for Race 1.

“It was a useful first day, especially in terms of the work done: we did some interesting tests, which will come in handy for the race. We can be confident ahead of tomorrow, as we are competitive“.
