FRENCH ROUND | PREVIEW

After five weeks of enforced rest, we are finally ready to return to action.
In fact, the World Supersport Championship will be back in action this weekend at the Magny – Cours track, the stage that kicks off the final and decisive part of the 2022 season.
As has already happened throughout the season, the upcoming weekend will be a bit of a leap of faith for Balda. In fact, he has never done a race weekend between the kerbs of the French track, but is nevertheless ready to put himself in the limelight.
This is also thanks to a fabulous performance in the last round at Most, where Balda took pole position and victory in both races, bringing him to within 14 points of the top of the overall standings.
The weekend’s program will start on Friday with the first free practice sessions, while Saturday will be the time for Superpole and Race 1, with Race 2 closing the program on Sunday.

“Finally the championship starts again, which makes me very happy. We are very concentrated, and we know what our objective is: Magny – Cours is a complete track, where I think we can be competitive. The first objective is to start well right from FP1, and then grow session after session“.
