PORTUGUESE GP RACE

Baldassarri 14th at the international circuit do Algarve.

Lorenzo Baldassarri, who had already found a better feeling with the bike in yesterday’s qualifying session compared to the previous days, immediately led a comeback race, recovering 11 positions. The rider from Marche closed the challenge in 14th position, gaining the first two points with his MV Agusta F2 and placing fourth among the Italians on track.

Lorenzo Baldassarri #7 – 14th
“Today it was important to finish the race and we did it, even better the fact that we finished in the points. It was great because during the last laps I had a nice bagarre with another rider and it was satisfying to be able to maintain my position until the end. We got 2 points, but also confidence and important data for the next races. From here we don’t give up and we always go on this way. We know that for our aerodynamics this was not an easy track, but the next races will be held on circuits less difficult for us and I hope this will give us the opportunity to work better and collect good results”.
