Andalucia GP FP1-2
Baldassarri starts the Andalusian Grand Prix among the fastest
The Andalusian Grand Prix has started to roll in the Jerez – Ángel Nieto Circuit with the dispute of the first free practice sessions, where the rider of the FlexBox HP 40 finishes the first day in fourth position.
In the same scenario as the previous weekend, Baldassarri took to the track with the intention of improving the set-up and finding that last step forward that was missing in the Spanish Grand Prix.
For Baldassari, the day has been positive. The changes have worked and it has quickly set competitive records. He has stopped the chronometer at 1’41.678, which gives him the fourth position today. He still needs to improve a little in the pace but the rider of the FlexBox HP 40 has taken a step forward.
Lorenzo Baldassarri, 4th, 1’41.678 (+0.153)
“Today we started well. We came out with a different bike configuration to try to find what we lacked last weekend and we had good feelings, going quite fast. We still have a couple of tenths left in the rhythm but we have good information from all the day, both in the morning and in the afternoon. It will be important to work thinking about Sunday’s race, thinking about how hot it is and seems it will be harder. Tomorrow we will look for a good position on the starting grid.”
