GP OF SPAIN RACE
Baldassarri gains other points at the Jerez de la Frontera track
The morning Warm Up session was difficult due to the low tarmac temperature and saw Baldassarri victim of a crash. Thanks to the commendable work of the mechanics, the Italian rider was able to take part in the race regularly. Starting from the back is never easy but Lorenzo did an intelligent race, managing his F2 and finishing in 14th place.
Lorenzo Baldassarri #7 – 14th
“Starting from the back is always difficult in the race. Despite this, we did what we could and the pace was good even if in the end we weren’t able to get as much as we could. However, the balance of the weekend is positive because we reconfirmed the good pace we had on Friday, even though we had some difficulty climbing. In addition, I have to say that this morning the guys were very quick to repair my bike so I could get back on track to finish the warm-up after the crash, and I want to thank them for that. We’re doing a good job and we’re going to keep going and not give up on anything.”
