First day of practice for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team, busy at the Portimao circuit for round nine of the 2022 season. 

At 12.25 (Italian time) FP1 got underway, characterised – like the rest of the day – by clear sky and high temperatures. Balda completed 19 laps, finishing 4th.

In the afternoon it was then time for FP2. Lorenzo was able to improve on his morning time, completing 17 laps and ending the session in 5th place. 

With the first day of action over, it is now time for the races. Tomorrow in fact the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team will take to the track first at 11.25 (Italian time) for Superpole, then at 16.15 for Race 1.

“It was a very productive first day, in which we understood several interesting things, both in view of Superpole and the race. We are ready for tomorrow“.
