Lorenzo Baldassarri and the GMT94 Yamaha have had a good start to the season in Jerez.

Balda can leave Jerez satisfied after two days of positive testing.

The 131 laps completed throughout the test have allowed the team and rider with the number 34 to do some constructive work with the new Yamaha YZF-R1.

“A new team, a new bike… this first test was really positive. We worked step by step to understand the bike, both the electronics and the set-up. It was a discovery for everyone. I’m really happy because we improved with every ride. Even if we are still far from the best lap times, we are going in the right direction. Thanks to the team, to Christophe Guyot, they managed to prepare the motorbike in time during a very short off-season, we are looking forward to the next tests in Portimao”.
