AUSTRALIAN ROUND | PREVIEW
After 11 rounds packed with tension, hard work, and results, the 2022 WorldSSP season and therefore Balda’s season is coming to an end.
The curtain will fall on the iconic Phillip Island track, which returns after a year’s stop to host the championship, and will also host the first round of the 2023 season.
After two rounds on a track unfamiliar to him, Lorenzo Baldassarri returns to a familiar track, where he achieved 3rd place – in Moto2 – as his best result.
Already mathematically certain of 2nd place in the overall standings, Lorenzo is looking for great results, with which he can bid farewell to the team in the best possible way.
The Phillip Island weekend will begin as usual on Friday, with the first two free practice sessions. Saturday will be time for Superpole and Race 1, while Sunday Race 2 will complete the weekend’s program.
