Saturday was one to remember for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team, thanks to a magnificent triumph by Lorenzo Baldassarri in Race 1 at Most.
The Italian rider was the author of a perfect race, with which he took his second win of the season. 

In the morning the Superpole was staged, useful to gain the best position on the starting grid. Baldassarri was perfect, taking pole position thanks to a time of 1’34″952, with which he equalled the track record to the thousandth. 

At 15.15 the traffic lights went out for Race 1. Balda got off to the best possible start and, also thanks to a big crash behind him in turn 1, he immediately began to pull away from his rivals. By the stroke of lap 10 Lorenzo had built up a four-second lead over his rivals and then soloed under the chequered flag. A real show of strength from the Italian, on the podium for the eighth consecutive time.

Tomorrow Balda will be back on track at 9.25am for the Warm Up, while at 12.30pm it will be time for Race 2.

“It was a beautiful day, we needed it. We improved steadily and the win is the result. I was lucky not to get caught up in the crash in the first corner: after that I kept a good pace, and everything went well. Tomorrow there is another race, where we will again have to give everything“.
