The second round of the 2022 Supersport World Championship season has officially opened at the historic Assen circuit, with the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha team immediately in the spotlight.

Lorenzo completed 19 laps and obtained 2nd place.

In the afternoon it was time for FP2, accompanied by a slight increase in temperature, which has significantly leveled the standings.
Baldassarri completed 18 laps and took fourth place, just 185 thousandths from the top.

With the first day of action over, it is now time for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team to prepare for Day 2, which will see the first race of the weekend.
At 10.25 it will be time for the Superpole, to determine the starting grid, while at 15.15 Race 1 will start.

It was a positive first day, where both in the morning and in the afternoon we collected important data. In FP2 the wind made it difficult to improve the morning time, but we worked well ahead of the race. Tomorrow we’ll put all the pieces of the puzzle together, to have a good Superpole and an equally good Race 1“.
