The second day at the Bugatti circuit of Le Mans ended for the rider of the MV Agusta Forward Racing team.

The unpredictability of the weather influenced both the last free practice session, where the tarmac temperature was only 14ºC, and the afternoon qualifying, which took place almost entirely in wet conditions. After a strong Q1, Balda conquered his first Q2 on board of the MV Agusta F2.

I think we handled the day well today, with such unpredictable conditions we were pretty competitive. In the end I have to say that the day ended with a bit of bitterness because I would have liked to be more efficient in Q2. In any case I’m happy because we made a good step forward, we needed to reach this target. For our pace it is important to start ahead in the race to reap the benefits of the work done throughout the weekend.
