INDONESIAN ROUND | FREE PRACTICES
The first day of practice finished for the WSSP talents, who officially kicked off the penultimate round of the 2022 season at the Mandalika circuit.
In the combined classification of the two sessions held on Indonesian day one Balda finished 8th.
The morning FP1 was characterized by the low grip conditions on the track, which made it complicated to work on the setup of the bikes. Lorenzo clocked his first-ever 16 laps at Mandalika, finishing 13th.
In the afternoon, the conditions gradually improved, although they remained treacherous. Lorenzo took 8th place, with 20 laps completed.
Balda will be back on track tomorrow for the second day of action.
Day two will host the Superpole (2.55 CET), followed by Race 1 at 5 CET.
“It was a first day of work. The track is particular, we need time to adapt, but we’re on the right way. The grip will improve session after session, so we’ll see how we get to the race”.
